I've traveled to Korea several times for business and leisure, and I can honestly say this was one of the most memorable dining experiences I've had anywhere in the country. At first, I thought I was simply booking a nice Korean restaurant in Busan. What I experienced was something much more meaningful. The restaurant is inspired by a Korean cookbook written over 200 years ago, and every course tells part of that story. The staff don't just serve food—they explain the history and significance behind each dish in a way that feels welcoming and engaging. The service was exceptional from start to finish. Every member of the staff seemed genuinely proud of what they were presenting, and their knowledge of the menu was impressive. The highlight for me was the main course. Before opening a beautiful decorative box placed on the table, the staff explained the story behind the dish and encouraged us to enjoy the presentation first. It created a sense of anticipation that you rarely find in restaurants today. The food itself was outstanding. Not because it was overly complicated, but because every dish felt thoughtful and purposeful. You could tell there was real respect for Korean culinary history while still making the flavors approachable for modern diners. For foreign visitors: don't worry if you're unfamiliar with traditional Korean cuisine. This is not the kind of restaurant where you'll feel lost or confused. The staff guide you through the experience, explain everything clearly, and make it easy to appreciate the food regardless of your background. The atmosphere deserves special mention as well. Elegant, peaceful, and unlike anywhere else I visited in Busan. It feels both modern and deeply connected to Korean culture at the same time. I've eaten at Michelin-starred restaurants in New York, Chicago, Tokyo, and Singapore, and while this is a completely different style of dining, it delivered something many fine dining restaurants fail to provide: a genuine sense of place and story. If you're visiting Busan and want more than just another meal, make a reservation here. There are many restaurants you forget a week later. This is not one of them. In fact, if I had skipped this place during my trip, I think I would have regretted it. Highly recommended.

출장과 여행으로 한국에 여러 번 왔지만, 솔직히 이곳은 한국 어디에서 먹은 식사보다도 오래 기억에 남을 식사였습니다. 처음엔 부산의 괜찮은 한식당 하나를 예약한다고만 생각했습니다. 그런데 제가 겪은 건 훨씬 더 의미 있는 무엇이었습니다. 이 식당은 200여 년 전에 쓰인 한국의 조리서에서 영감을 받았고, 코스 하나하나가 그 이야기의 한 부분을 들려줍니다. 직원들은 음식만 내는 게 아니라, 요리마다 담긴 역사와 의미를 따뜻하고 흥미롭게 설명해 줍니다. 서비스는 처음부터 끝까지 훌륭했습니다. 모든 직원이 자신이 내놓는 음식에 진심으로 자부심을 느끼는 듯했고, 메뉴에 대한 지식도 인상적이었습니다. 제게 가장 인상 깊었던 건 메인 코스였습니다. 테이블에 놓인 아름다운 함을 열기 전에, 직원이 그 요리에 얽힌 이야기를 들려주며 먼저 모양새를 감상해 보라고 권했습니다. 요즘 식당에서는 좀처럼 느끼기 힘든 설렘이었습니다. 음식 자체도 뛰어났습니다. 지나치게 복잡해서가 아니라, 모든 요리에 생각과 이유가 담겨 있었기 때문입니다. 한국 음식의 역사를 깊이 존중하면서도 오늘날 사람의 입맛에 맞게 다듬었다는 게 느껴졌습니다. 외국인 여행자분들께: 한국 전통 음식을 잘 몰라도 걱정하지 마세요. 이곳은 무엇을 먹는지 몰라 헤매게 되는 식당이 아닙니다. 직원들이 경험 전체를 안내하고 모든 것을 친절하게 설명해 주기 때문에, 어떤 배경을 가진 사람이든 음식을 충분히 즐길 수 있습니다. 분위기도 꼭 언급하고 싶습니다. 우아하고 평온하며, 부산에서 가 본 어느 곳과도 달랐습니다. 현대적이면서도 한국 문화와 깊이 이어져 있는 느낌입니다. 저는 뉴욕, 시카고, 도쿄, 싱가포르의 미쉐린 스타 식당에서 식사해 봤습니다. 이곳은 전혀 다른 스타일의 다이닝이지만, 많은 파인다이닝이 주지 못하는 것을 줍니다. 바로 그 장소만의 진짜 이야기입니다. 부산에 와서 그저 한 끼 이상의 것을 원한다면, 이곳을 예약하세요. 일주일만 지나도 잊히는 식당은 많습니다. 이곳은 그렇지 않습니다. 오히려 이번 여행에서 이곳을 빠뜨렸다면 후회했을 거라고 생각합니다. 강력히 추천합니다.

Took my wife to Siui Jeonseo for her birthday dinner during our trip to Busan, and it completely exceeded our expectations. The presentation and care behind each dish was incredible. The flavors were clean, balanced, and beautifully layered. You can tell the chef puts real thought and passion into every course. The atmosphere is calm and refined, perfect for a celebration. The staff made us feel so welcome and helped make her birthday feel extra special. Honestly surprised this place isn't Michelin-starred yet. If you're in Gwangalli and want a memorable meal, this is it. We'll definitely be back.

부산 여행 중 아내의 생일 저녁으로 시의전서를 찾았는데, 기대를 완전히 뛰어넘었습니다. 요리마다 담긴 모양새와 정성이 놀라웠습니다. 맛은 깔끔하고 균형 잡혀 있으며 아름답게 겹을 이룹니다. 셰프가 코스 하나하나에 진심과 열정을 쏟는다는 게 느껴집니다. 분위기는 차분하고 품격 있어 기념일에 꼭 맞습니다. 직원들이 따뜻하게 맞아 주었고, 아내의 생일을 더욱 특별하게 만들어 주었습니다. 솔직히 아직 미쉐린 스타가 아니라는 게 놀랍습니다. 광안리에서 기억에 남는 식사를 원한다면, 바로 여기입니다. 꼭 다시 오겠습니다.

We stumbling around looking for a place to eat, and our noses guided us here. We didn’t know what to expect but whatever they would have been surely would have been topped. The food, atmosphere, presentation were that of a high-end culinary experience. I’m not sure how this place isn’t at least on the Michelin guide but it surely will be soon. Highly recommend and will be coming back next trip.

刚进来就被店铺的外观吸引了，具有民族特色的风格。落座后的菜单也是民族风满满，服务态度很好，得知我们是外国人很耐心的介绍菜品。

Das Restaurant liegt gut erreichbar und bietet die Möglichkeit noch vorher den Gwangalli Strand zu besuchen. Die Atmosphäre passt, man merkt sofort, dass man was besonderes genießen wird. Bei unserem Menü waren es 3 Gänge und ein Gruß aus der Küche waren alle hervorragend. Man bekommt traditionelle koreanische Gerichte, etwas moderner interpretiert. Es passt für ein klassisches Fine Dining Erlebnis, Preis-Leistung ist auch top und der 3fach gebraute koreanische Sake/Reiswein passt erstaunlich gut zum Menü: kräftig und deutliche Süße, der "normale" Reiswein erinnert eher an neuen Wein und kann mit dem Menü nicht mithalten. Insgesamt also eine Empfehlung und schöne Abwechslung von den Standardgerichten / Grills! :)

식당은 찾아가기 쉽고, 식사 전에 광안리 해변을 둘러볼 수도 있어요. 분위기가 딱 맞아서, 들어서자마자 특별한 걸 즐기게 되겠다는 느낌이 듭니다. 저희 코스는 세 가지 요리와 셰프의 첫인사 요리로 이뤄졌는데, 모두 훌륭했어요. 한국 전통 요리를 조금 더 현대적으로 해석해 내놓습니다. 클래식한 파인다이닝 경험에 잘 어울리고, 가격 대비 만족도도 최고예요. 세 번 빚은 한국 술은 코스와 놀랄 만큼 잘 어울렸어요. 진하고 단맛이 뚜렷한데, '일반' 술은 햇와인 같은 느낌이라 코스를 따라오지 못해요. 전체적으로 추천하며, 흔한 메뉴나 고깃집과는 다른 반가운 선택입니다! :)

Очень атмосферное место! 🌿 Интерьер и территория продуманы до мелочей: много зелени, бамбук, камни, небольшой пруд с паром и красивые Корейские детали создают ощущение настоящего уединённого сада посреди города. Еда тоже порадовала — всё выглядит очень аппетитно, подача аккуратная, а блюда насыщенные и домашние. Особенно понравилась общая атмосфера: спокойно, уютно и необычно. Отличное место, если хочется не просто поесть, а приятно провести время и насладиться красивой обстановкой. Однозначно рекомендую!
